Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the memorial service for Carl Edward “Babe” Barnett, age 77, of Douglas, who passed away Monday, May 16, 2022.
Visitation will be 10 AM to 11 AM Thursday, May 19, 2022 in the Morningside Baptist Church with services at 11 AM. Rev. Kevin Bounds, Perry Barnett, & Brian Barnett will officiate. The private burial will take place in the Douglas City Cemetery.
Mr. Barnett was born in Lebanon, Indiana. He was the son of the late Jean Paul Barnett & Kathryn Ann Perry Barnett. He was a retired self-employed business man.
Survivors include: Wife: Janice Barnett of Douglas; Children: Brian Barnett (Michelle) of Valdosta, Perry Barnett (Tracy) of Sky Valley, Christa Pack (Ken) of Douglas, Jeffery Barnett (Dawn) of Moultrie; Sisters: Patricia Adams of Watkinsville, Kay Kneisel (Tom) of Davie, Fl. & Paula Ellis (John) of Centre, Al.; Grandchildren: Justin Barnett (Savannah) Rachel Barnett (Austin), Ashley Barnett, Benjamin Pack, William Pack, Kathryn Barnett (Ethan Stinchcomb), Andrew Barnett, Merrie Barnett (Logan Brock), Eva Barnett & Charis Barnett; Several nieces, nephews and other relatives also survive.
Active pallbearers will be: Justin Barnett, Benjamin Pack, William Pack, Andrew Barnett, Austin Bishop, Eddie Butts & Bruce Williams.
