Mr. Roger Lee Vincent, Sr., age 73 of Douglas, passed away Saturday evening, May 28, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Vincent was born June 24, 1948 to the late Harvey L. Vincent, Sr. and the late Vivian Lavenia Butler Vincent Walker.

 

 

Mr. Vincent, a native of Bacon County, had lived in Coffee County since 1965. He was retired from Vincent Electric Service and Repairs.

 

 

Survivors include:

 

 

His wife: Donna Carter Vincent of Douglas, GA

 

 

Daughter: Pamela Marie Vincent of Douglas, GA

 

 

Son: Roger L. Vincent, Jr. of Douglas, GA

 

 

Brother: Harvey L. Vincent, Jr. and wife Ann of Douglas, GA

 

 

Sister: Mary Ann Lewis of Douglas, GA

 

 

Nieces and Nephews: Teresa Vincent, Stacy Vincent and Brad Lewis all of Douglas, GA
Chad Lewis of Summerville, GA
Justin Myers of Tallahassee, FL
Cameron McLeod of Naylor, GA
Emily Murphy of Jasper, FL
Tory Carter of Nashville, TN
Tessa Allen of Perry FL

 

 

Sister-in-Law and her husband: Teresa Myers and husband Jeff of Perry FL

 

 

Brother-in-Law and his wife: James Wilbur Carter, Jr. and wife Stacy of Valdosta, GA

 

 

Numerous Great Nieces and Great Nephews

 

 

The family will receive friends Thursday afternoon, June 2, 2022, from 2:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home Chapel.

 

 

The funeral service will be held Thursday afternoon, June 2, 2022 at 4:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Van Henderson Officiating. The interment will follow at the Douglas City Cemetery.

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
