Catherine Lee Fortune Copeland, 66

Catherine Lee Fortune Copeland, age 66, of Leesburg, Georgia passed away on Thursday, June 2, 2022, at her residence following an extended illness. Mrs. Copeland was born on June 26, 1955, in Douglas, Georgia.

 

Survivors include: Two Sons, David Dunn (Faye) of Leesburg, GA, Paul Dunn of Colorado, Three Sisters, Donna of Macon, GA, Regina of Macon, GA, Penny of Macon, GA, Four Grandchildren, Rodney Brasington of Baconton, GA, Wade Brasington of Missouri, and Trinity Smiley of Illinois, and Kylie Dunn of Kentucky. She was also survived by several nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

 

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, June 7, 2022, at 11:00am, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Lonnie Spikes officiating.

 

The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 7, 2022, from 10:00am to 11:00am at Sims Funeral Home.

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

 

Due to inclement conditions at the Douglas City Cemetery because of weather, the Graveside Funeral Service for Mrs. Copeland will take place at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home at 11:00AM on Tuesday, June 7, 2022. Only the service location has changed.
