Jeffie Ann Courson, age 72, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, June 1, 2022, at Tift Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Courson was born on August 23, 1949, to the late Newson Corbitt and the late Beatrice Smith Corbitt.

 

 

Survivors include: Daughter: Debra Reliford of Hazlehurst, GA, Son: James Reliford of Fitzgerald, GA, Son: Benjamin Monroe Reliford of Douglas, GA, Son: Kelly Courson of Waycross, GA, Brother: Jody Courson of TN, Sister: Jean Young of Callahan, FL, and Sixteen Grandchildren. Mrs. Courson was preceded in death by: Father: Newson Corbitt, Mother: Beatrice Smith Corbitt, Husband: Ray K Courson, Kasey Graham and Grandson: Timmy Bronell.

 

 

The family will receive friends Friday, June 3, 2022 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 4, 2022 at 11:00 am at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. James Tyson, Rev. Jonnie Smith and Rev. James Hodge officiating. Interment followed at Live Oak Cemetery in Atkinson, GA.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
