Frances Faye Moon, age 91, of Atlanta, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, June 8, 2022 at Manorcare Nursing Home in Atlanta, Georgia following an extended illness. Mrs. Moon was born on September 3, 1930, in Coffee County, Georgia, to the late Alex B. Morrison and Erna Wheeler Morrison.

 

 

Survivors include: One Daughter; Sarah Alexa Logan of Lawrenceville, GA, One Sister;  Sandra M. Green of Lilburn, GA, One Grandchild; Heather Patterson (Dave) of Vancouver, Canada, Four Great Grandchildren; Tyler Barrett of Colorado, Kala Rose Perez of Colorado, Michael John Perez of Guam, Johnny Patterson of Vancouver, Canada, Four Great- Great Grandchildren; Kalel Barrett, Mazekeen Perez-Guzman, Adriel Perez-Guzman, and Kamila Ray Perez. Mrs. Moon was preceded in death by: One Son; Alvin Jerome Moon Jr., Two Brothers; J.J. Morrison, Forest “Odie” Morrison, and her Parents; Alex B. Morrison and Erna Wheeler Morrison.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 11, 2022, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM, at Sims Funeral Home.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, June 11, 2022, at 11:00AM, at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Bro. Heath Carver officiating. Active Pallbearers will be: Dale Moon, Alex Morrison, Dudley Vickers, Andrew Vickers, Johnny Morrison, and Jim Girtman.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
