Miss Carly Nicole Beard, age 11, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Sunday, June 12, 2022. Miss Beard was born on July 1, 2010, in Savannah, Georgia.
Survivors include: Father, Christopher (Sarah) Beard of Douglas, GA, Grandmother, Velvet Beard of Douglas, GA, Four Sisters, Kara A. Beard of Douglas, GA, Aubrey Beard of Kansas, Evelyn Beard of Douglas, GA, Alice Beard of Douglas, GA, Uncle, Robert Beard III (Allison) of Savanah, GA, Step-Grandfather, Grant Balwanz of Douglas, GA, Aunt, Nicole Goolsby of Douglas, GA, Great-Grandmother, Leigh Courtney, and Great-Grandmother, Rose “Bubbles” Beard. She was also survived by several cousins and friends. She was preceded in death by: Brother, Rusty Beard; Grandfather, Robert Beard, Jr.; and Great-Grandfather, Robert Beard, Sr.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, June 17, 2022 at 11:00AM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Christian Colson and Mackenzie Goolsby officiating. Interment will follow at Oakland Cemetery in Waycross, GA. Active Pallbearers will be: Christopher Beard, Robert Beard, Jayce Nelson, Grant Balwanz, Nicole Goolsby, Daniel Goolsby, Lee Goolsby, and Stephen Douberly.
The family will receive friends Thursday, June 16, 2022 from 6:30PM to 8:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.
