Mr. Richard Collier Boggan, age 71 of Douglas, GA passed away late Wednesday night, July 6, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Boggan was born June 24, 1951 to the late Collier Brown Boggan and the late Margie Lee Fussell Boggan. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife Donna Carlton Boggan.
Mr. Boggan, a native of Coffee County, had been a truck driver for many years with Douglas Asphalt. He attended Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church near Ambrose.

Ethan Pate, Dossen Pate and Kaden Jowers all of Ambrose, GA

The funeral service will be held Saturday, July 9, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church near Ambrose, GA with Rev. George Carroll Paulk and Rev. Walt Deloach officiating. The interment will follow in Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Cemetery with Rev. Mitchell Deems conducting the graveside services.
The family will receive friends this evening, July 8, 2022 at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.
Active pallbearers for the service will be: Ashley Boggan, Joshua Monk, Ray Monk, Payton Adams, Ben Batten, Chad Boggan, Meagan Spires and Matthew Boggan.
