Mr. Taze Manuel Latham, age 81 of Douglas, passed away early Tuesday morning, July 12, 2022 at his residence following a short illness. Mr. Latham was born March 7, 1941 to the late Joseph Latham and the late Eula Rainwater Latham. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a son: Kevin Taze Latham, 3 Brothers: Billy Latham, Harold Latham and Timmy Latham, 1 Sister: Amelia Campbell and 1 Grandchild: Erika Hayes. 

 

 

Mr. Latham, a native of Fulton County, was a plumber for many years with Stasco Plumbing. He was a veteran of the United States Army. Mr. Latham was also a member of Sunset Hill Church in Douglasville, GA 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

His Wife: Lynette Dorminey Latham of Douglas, GA 

 

 

1 Son: Jeffrey Latham and wife Carla of Bell Buckle, TN 

 

 

1 Daughter: Wendie Strange and husband Fred of Winston, GA 

 

 

2 Sisters: Julia Ann Kay of Newnan, GA 

Sarah Teague of Sharpsburg, GA 

 

 

3 Grandchildren: Colby Marshall of Villa Rica, GA 

Nicole France of Acworth, GA 

Gerred Strange of Wilsonville, IL 

 

 

8 Great Grand Children and 1 Great-Great Grandchild 

 

 

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends. 

 

 

The funeral service will be Friday afternoon, July 15, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Rev. Ikey Watson and Rev. Terry Reagin officiating. The interment will follow at St. Illa Cemetery. 

 

 

The family will receive friends on Thursday evening, July 14, 2022 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home. 

 

 

Active Pallbearers for the service will be: Todd France, Brent France, Seth France, Colby Marshall and Luke Dorminey. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
