Gerald Mitchell Harper, age 74, of Ambrose, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, July 28, 2022. Mr. Harper was born on January 06, 1948 to the late Odis Henry Harper and Ludelle Luke Harper.

 

 

Survivors include; Mother: Ludelle Luke Harper, Wife: Lidia Harper of Ambrose, Ga, Two Brothers: Riley Harper of Ambrose,  Ga and Lamar (Brenda) Harper of Ambrose, Ga, Six Sisters: Sandra (Deny) Taylor of Waycross, Ga, Marie (Monroe) McKinnon of Mora, Ga, Patsy (Glenn) Lott of Holt, Ga, Elecia (DW) Harper of Ocilla, Ga, Cynthia (Steven) Burt of Ambrose, Ga,  Robbie Lynn (Lamar) Merritt of Ambrose, Ga and several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by; Father: Odis Henry Harper, First Wife: Dorothy Harper and Sister: Rhonda Denise Harper.

 

 

The family will receive friends Monday, August 1, 2022 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.

 

 

Funeral Services will be held on Tuesday, August 2, 2022 at 12:00PM at St. Paul Catholic Church with Father Paul O’Connell and Rev. George Carroll Paulk officiating. Interment followed at Douglas City Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Knights of Columbus.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
