Rebecca Alyce McReady Brigmond, age 32, of West Green, Georgia passed away on Monday, August 15, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Ms. Brigmond was born on January 29, 1990, in Douglas, GA to Oscar David McReady and Cynthia Melissa Nugent McReady.
Survivors include: Father: Oscar David McReady, Sr. of Willacoochee, GA, Mother: Cynthia Melissa Nugent McReady of Willacoochee, GA, Spouse: Joshua Adam Brigmond of West Green, GA, Son: Colton Gage Brigmond, Daughter: Allison Jaymes Brigmond, Grandmother: Jean Ellen Nugent of Willacoochee, GA, Brother: Oscar David McReady,Jr. of Willacoochee, GA, Mother-in-law: Sandra Kay Brigmond of West Green, GA, Father-in-law: Nelson Corbitt of West Green, GA, Sister-in-Law: Courtney Meeks of West Green, GA, Brother-in-Law: Ryan Meeks of West Green, GA, Nephew: Gunner Meeks. She was preceded in death by: Four Grandfathers: Robert Nugent, Jimmy McReady, Pinchie Burkett and James Franklin Brigmond, Two Grandmothers: Geraldine McReady and Vanyee Burkett.
The family will receive friends Sunday, August 21, 2022 from 6:00PM to 9:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, August 22, 2022 at 4:00PM Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Rev. Edward Mathews officiating. Interment followed at Burkett Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Corey Moore, Brandon Mobley, Ben Smith, Tyler Deen, Daniel Davis and Bruce (Boo Boo) Kinnerd. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Michael Davis.
