Mr. Elmer Jackson Miller, Sr., age 79 of Douglas, passed away Friday afternoon, August 12, 2022 at his residence following an unexpected illness. Mr. Miller was born May 25, 1943 to the late Lawton Miller and the late Emma Sims Miller. Other than his parents, Mr. Miller was preceded in death by his wife, Shirley Fay Miller; 3 Siblings: J. W. Miller, Eunice West and Oleatha Miller.
Mr. Miller, a native of Broxton, GA, was retired from City of Douglas Sanitation Department after driving the garbage truck for many years. He was a member of Fales Pentecostal Church..

The funeral service will be held Wednesday morning, August 17, 2022 at 11:00 AM at Fales Pentecostal Church with Rev. Jamie Coker officiating.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday morning, August 17, 2022 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Fales Pentecostal Church.
Active Pallbearers for the service will be: Scott Miller, Justin Miller, Alex Miller, Donald Hollinger, Heaney Miller and Greg Miller.
Due to COVID, attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the visitation, funeral service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions.
