Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the graveside service for Debra Ann Prescott Ansel, age 57, of Douglas, who passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022.

 

 

Visitation will be 10 am to 10:30 am Thursday, August 11, 2022, in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.  Graveside services will be held at 11 am, Thursday in the Royals Cemetery 5746 Sunnyside Church Road Pearson, Georgia 31642. Rev. Clyde Purvis will officiate.

 

 

Mrs. Ansel was born in Douglas. She was the daughter of the late Lynnwood Sandford Prescott & Clara Bell Reliford Prescott and the wife of the late Richard Lee Ansel.  Mrs. Ansel was preceded in death by: Michael Worth and a grandson: Matthew Jacob Ansel.  She was a caregiver.

 

 

Survivors include: Sons: Michael Lee Ansel & Mathew Joseph Ansel both of Douglas; Special friend: Eddie James Mann, Jr. of Douglas; Sisters: Rosie Merritt, Sylvia Prescott & Jeannie Pittman (Michael) all of Douglas, Janice Purvis (Clyde) & Deborah Worth; Brother: Roger Wayne Prescott of Douglas; 4 grandchildren; Several nieces also survive.

 

 

Active Pallbearers will be: Michael Andrew Pittman, Jr., Nicholas Reliford, Terry Lynn Britt, III, Timothy Dalton Gay, Chuck Lemule Quinn & Gabriel Alan Moore.

 

 

Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services is in charge of the arrangements.
