Mr. John Lark Conley, age 80 of Douglas, GA passed away at his residence on Friday, August 26, 2022 following a sudden unexpected death. Mr. Conley was born July 18, 1942 to the late John L. Conley and the late Catherine Davis Conley. Other than his parents, he was also preceded in death by his wife Bonnie Stapleton Conley. 

 

 

Mr. Conley, a native of Dodge County, GA, was a general laborer. He was a member of Rocky Pond Baptist Church. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

4 Children: John Conley, Jr. of Valley, AL 

Joan Conley Reagan of Dallas, GA 

Mary Ann Conley Milner Smith of Station, AL 

Marie McCard of Westpoint, GA 

 

 

1 Sister: Mary E. Lowery 

 

 

7 Grandchildren: Jesse Conley of Valley, AL 

Noah Reagan of Dallas, GA 

Tiffany Brown (Shane Brown) of Phenix City, AL 

Summer Smith and Michael Smith both of Station, AL 

Dakota Barrett 

 

 

8 Great Grand Children: Candice Brown, Ayden Brown, Cameron Brown, Justin Caroll, Zaine Milner, Kryston Milner, Kaylor Milner and Kali Milner. 

 

 

The funeral service will be held Saturday afternoon, September 3, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Rocky Pond Baptist Church with Rev. Lonnie Spikes officiating.. The interment will follow in Rocky Pond Church Cemetery. 

 

 

Active Pallbearers for the service: Billy Denton, Carroll Pridgen, Chris Roberson, Daryl Mizell, E. C. Yarberry and Scott Perkins. 

 

 

Due to COVID-19, all attendees are asked to observe six foot social distancing at the funeral service and interment. Please wear your mask for safety precautions. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
