Karen Louise Cakora Kilgore, 77

Mrs. Karen Louise Cakora Kilgore, age 77 of Douglas, passed away Wednesday evening, September 21, 2022 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following a short illness. Mrs. Kilgore was born February 12, 1945 to the late Charles Joseph Cakora, Jr. and the late Dorothy Margaret Schultz Cakora. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Jennifer Cakora. 

 

 

Mrs. Kilgore was born in Chicago, Illinois. She was employed with Eastman Kodak in Atlanta for a number of years and also with Winn Dixie for 10 years and a pharmacy for another 10 years. She was of the Catholic faith. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

Husband: Clinton Kilgore of Douglas, GA 

 

 

Daughter: Kimberly Ann Rainey of Buford, GA 

 

 

Sister: Dorena Lemus of Dade City, FL 

 

 

Brothers: Larry Cakora of Atlanta, GA 

Ronald Cakora of TN 

 

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends. 

 

 

The memorial service will be held Saturday, September 24, 2022 at noon at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Bishop Britt Peavy officiating. 

The family will receive friends on Saturday, September 24, 2022 from 11:00 AM until noon at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
