Martha Lois Deaton Mobley, 76

Martha Lois Deaton Mobley, age 76, of Abbeville, Georgia, passed away on Friday, September 23, 2022.  Mrs. Mobley was born on April 25, 1946, in Lamar County, GA to the late Homer Deaton and the late Gladys Burch Deaton.

 

 

Survivors include: Two Sons: Wiley (Veronica ) Mobley of Griffin, GA and Kyle Mobley, Brother: William  Deaton of Pearson, GA, Sister: Azalee Corbett of Douglas, GA, Five Grandchildren: Vanessa  Hawk, Joel Mobley, Billy Joe  Mobley II, Joey  Mobley and Jenni  Mobley, Four Great Grandchildren: Natalie  Hawk, Cailey  Hawk, Genevieve  Mobley and Ryan  Mobley. She was preceded in death by: Father: Homer Deaton, Mother: Gladys Burch Deaton, First Husband: Wiley Theodore “Ted” Mobley, Son: Billy Joe Mobley and Second Husband:  Larry Highsmith.

 

 

Graveside services were held on Monday, September 26, 2022 at 11:00AM at Lone Hill Methodist Church Cemetery with Pastor Chris Calhoun officiating.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
