Goat show association announces county winners

On a chilly Saturday morning of September 24, the Coffee County Show Goat Association held their 2022 County Goat Show. 

 

 

29 goats were shown between nine competitors which include Graci Barton, Rayley Batten, Heidi Chancey, Avelyn Dockery, Mari Fletcher, Hayden Gay, Hollyn Gay, Kyleigh Gay, and Gunner Hutto.  For Cloverleaf Showmanship (Grades 3-5), Hollyn Gay placed first. Kyleigh Gay placed first in Intermediate Showmanship (Grades 7-9). For Junior Showmanship (Grades 10-11), Mari Fletcher placed first. For Senior Showmanship, Heidi Chancey placed first. As for Grand Champions, Kyleigh Gay won first with her wether, and Hollyn Gay won with her doe. Heidi Chancey’s wether and doe went home Reserve Champions.

 

 

Coffee County 4-H and FFA would like to give their congratulations to seniors Heidi Chancey and Avelyn Dockery as well as thank them for their hard work and dedication throughout the years. We wish them the best on their next endeavors.
