Mr. Jack Edward Loftin, age 91 of Broxton, GA, passed away Monday evening, October 3, 2022 at his residence following an extended illness. 

 

 

Mr. Loftin was born August 17, 1931 to the late Weldon Loftin and the late Lelia Mae Cox Loftin. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 4 Children: Connie, Linda, Tina and Eddie; 5 Siblings: Mary Fralix, Mildren Koon, Tommy Loftin, Weldon Loftin and Olin Loftin; 1 Grandson: Teddy Stephens and 1 Granddaughter: Kailynn Harris: 

 

 

Mr. Loftin, a native of Morristown, TN, was a supervisor and repairman for Sears in the appliance department. He also retired from Fleetwood of Broxton. Mr. Loftin was a member of Broxton Church of God. He was a Korean Conflict veteran of the United States Army.. 

Survivors include: 

 

 

His wife of 50 years: Martha N. Loftin of Broxton, GA 

 

 

2 Children: Jeff Loftin of Columbus, GA 

Lynn L. Harris of Sevierville, TN 

 

 

12 Grandchildren and several Great Grandchildren 

 

 

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends 

 

 

The funeral service will be held Saturday, October 8, 2022 at 2:00 PM at Broxton Church of God with Rev. Joey Copeland officiating. The interment will follow at Broxton Church of God Cemetery. 

 

 

The family will receive friends, Saturday, October 8, 2022 from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM at Broxton Church of God. 

 

 

Active Pallbearers for the service will be: Wayne Nall, Wayne Smith, Evan Harper, Justin Bryan, Donald Carter and Jeremiah Bryan

 

. 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
