Mrs. Linda Maude Lee, age 79 of Nicholls, GA, passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 4, 2022 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. 

 

 

Mrs. Lee was born August 20, 1943 to the late James Head and the late Frances Yeomans Head. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Rev. Joseph Wayne Lee; 1 Son: John C. Lee and 2 Brothers, Julian Head and Grady Head. 

 

 

Mrs. Lee was retired from the Coffee County Board of Education, where she had worked as a bus driver and a para-pro. She was a member of Saginaw Baptist Church. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

1 Daughter: Angela Darlene Fesperman of Nicholls, Ga 

 

 

1 Son: Joseph Wayne Lee II of Savannah, GA 

 

 

1 Brother: Keith Head of Oak Park, GA 

 

 

7 Grandchildren: Leila Ann Taft of Pearson, GA 

Brandon Lee Fesperman of Shallotte, NC 

Angela Nicole Davis of Douglas, GA 

Jonathan Randal Wright of Phoenix, AZ 

John Harley Lee, II of Sarasota, FL 

Jaden Grace Lee of Nicholls, GA 

AnnaBelle Blu Lee of Savannah, GA 

 

 

7 Great Grandchildren 

 

 

A number of nieces, nephews, cousins and many friends 

 

 

A memorial service of Mrs. Lee will be held at a later date at Saginaw Baptist Church.. 

 

 

Memorialization is by cremation. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
