Lenora Cooper Simmons, 90

Lenora Cooper Simmons, age 90, of West Green, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022, at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mrs. Simmons was born on July 23, 1932, in West Green, GA to Jart U. Cooper and Mamie Sapp Cooper.

 

 

Survivors include: Son, Tony M (Ramona) Simmons of West Green, GA, Son, Terrell (Harriet) Simmons of Denton, GA, Daughter, Lisa Ann (Jamie) Lombardi of West Green, GA, Grandchildren, Tonya M. Simmons, Antonia L. (Cory) Nipper, Sarah (Cody) Simmons Mikell, Great-Grandchildren, Kensley Day, Michael Day, Maggie Mikell, and Justice Smith. She is also survived by several Nieces and  Nephews. She was preceded in death by: Husband, Woodrow Simmons,  Father, Jart U. Cooper; Mother, Mamie Sapp Simmons; and Three Brothers, Ingram L. Cooper, John Thomas Cooper, and James Milton Cooper.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 11:00am, at West Green Baptist Church with Rev. Kevin Bounds officiating. Interment will follow at Lone Hill Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers are: Carroll Dale, Kerry Van Moore, Danny Ray Kight, David Smith, Jeremy Hayes, and Mike Justice.

The family will receive friends Saturday, November 19, 2022 from 10:00am to 11:00am at West Green Baptist Church.
