Mr. Ronnie Gene Royal, age 73 of Fitzgerald, GA passed away late Wednesday evening, November 9, 2022 at Atrium Health Navicent in Macon, GA following an extended illness. Mr. Royal was born September 27, 1949 to the late Milton Royal and the late Johnnie Phillips Royal. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Terry Royal.
Mr. Royal, a native of Ambrose, Coffee County, GA, was a truck driver for East Coast Asphalt.

The funeral service will be held Monday, November 14, 2022 at 3:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Ms. Doralyn Paulk officiating. A eulogy will be presented by Danny Hughes during the chapel service. The interment will follow in Wray Cemetery with Mrs. Lynn Minix presiding at the graveside.
The family will receive friends on Monday, November 14, 2022, from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM at Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home.
