Ethridge Lock Wright, age 74, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2022 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Wright was born on September 2, 1948, in Coffee County, Georgia, to the late E.L. and Grace Wright.

 

 

Survivors include: His Wife; Sharon Hester Wright, of fifty-three years of Douglas, GA, One Daughter; Regina (Howard) Spires of Douglas, GA, One Granddaughter; Candace (Craig) Daniels of Alma, GA, Three Great-Grandchildren; Addalyn Davis, Bryleigh Daniels, Bryson Daniels, One Brother; Clarence (Eleanor) Wright of Douglas, GA, Two Sisters; Judy (Henry) Taylor of Axson, GA, and Sally (Herman) Rollins of Waycross, GA. He is also survived by several Nieces and Nephews and a host of Step-Grandchildren.  

 

 

Mr. Wright was preceded in death by; His Parents, E.L. and Grace Wright, One Brother, Wendell Wright, and Two Sisters, Ann Wright, and Lillie Mae Rollins.

The family will receive friends on Sunday, November 20, 2022, from 6:00PM until 9:00PM, at Sims Funeral Home.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, November 21, 2022, at 2:00PM, at Jowers Chapel Holiness Baptist Church, with Rev. Marshall Dyal, Rev. Tim Hicks, Rev. Howard Holt, and Rev. Bruce Deen officiating. The interment will follow at Tanner Baptist Church Cemetery. Active pallbearers will be: Casey Wright, Waylon Taft, Ricky Rozier, Vernie Dale Wright, Barry Whitley, Daniel Whittle, and Morris Nettles. Honorary Pallbearers will be: Members of Jowers Chapel Holiness Baptist Church.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home Inc. is in charge of arrangements.
