Troy Ray Moore Jr., age 57, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2022, at his residence. Mr. Moore Jr., was born on August 16, 1965, in Douglas, GA to the late Troy Ray Moore Sr. and Mary Jeanette Moore.
Survivors include: Two sons, Troy Ray Moore, of Douglas, GA, and Michael Ray (Merissa Taylor of Nicholls, GA, One daughter, Mary Jeanette (Adam) Reyes of Nicholls, GA, Special friend, Margie Velardi of Douglas, GA, Three brothers, Clay (Amanda) Moore of OK, Ricky (Rosa) Moore of Douglas, GA, Bobby (Kristy) Moore of Broxton, GA, One sister, Teresa (Michael) O’Steen, Five grandchildren, Hunter Moore, and Aubreigh Moore, Kody Taylor, McKenzie Taylor and Charlie Taylor and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends Sunday, November 27, 2022, from 6pm to 9pm at Sims Funeral Home, Douglas, GA.
Funeral service will be held on Monday, November 28, 2022, at 2:00 pm at Unity Ministries with Rev. Joseph Cochran officiating.
Pallbearers will be Justin Johns, Dylan Rish, Jerry Coleman, Todd Davis, Wesley Adams, Rusty Harper. Honorary Pallbearers will be:
Interment followed at Roxie Mae Church Cemetery.
