Stanley Q. Griffis, age 64, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Wednesday, November 30, 2022. Mr. Griffis was born on October 11, 1958, in Coffee County, GA to Neal Griffis and Oletha Whitley Griffis.

 

 

Survivors include; Wife: Sandra L. Griffis of Douglas, GA, Three Sons: Michell Edens (Shelly) of Douglas, GA, Chris Griffis (Kanicee) of Nicholls, GA and David Griffis of Douglas, GA, Two Daughters: Aleshia Griffis and Faith Lott, both of Douglas, Ga, Three Grandchildren: Christian Griffis, Noah Griffis and Aletha Glattli, Brother in Law: Jerry Strickland, Two Brothers: Roger Griffis (Virginia) of Douglas, GA and Tony Griffis (Susan) of Daytona, FL, Sister in Law: Sherry Strickland of Hinesville, GA, Mother in Law: Audrey Ridner, Step Children: Michael Manion, Jason Whitten, Richard Whitten and several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by: Father: Neal Griffis, Mother: Oletha Whitley Griffis, Sister: Mary Stewart and Brother: Carroll Griffis.

 

 

The family will receive friends Saturday, December 3, 2022 from 12:00PM to 2:00PM at Southview Church of God.

 

 

Funeral services will be held after visitation at 2:00PM with Rev. Byron Griffis officiating.

 

 

Memorialization will be by cremation.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
