Senior running back Antwain McDuffie was named Region 1-5A Player of the Year for the 2022 football season. He joins 11 of his teammates on the All Region 1st Team and 10 more on the All Region Honorable Mention list.
The Trojans, in head coach Mike Coe’s first year, finished the season 10-3 and advanced to the quarterfinals of the state playoffs. Coffee eventually finished #7 in the final state rankings.
The durable and reliable McDuffie tallied 195 carries for 1,296 yards and 19 touchdowns. He also had 4 receptions for 8 yards. McDuffie played in all 13 of Coffee’s games.

Quarterback Maurice Hansley (senior) — 78-122, 1,433 yards, 12 touchdowns, 4 interceptions. Hensley also had 45 carries for 180 yards and 3 touchdowns.

Wide receiver Billy Simpson (senior) — 22 catches for 449 yards and 5 touchdowns
Offensive lineman Luke LaRiccia (senior) — 34 pancake blocks
Offensive lineman Dane Rish (senior) — 26 pancake blocks
Offensive lineman Mason Roberts (senior) — 36 pancake blocks
Linebacker Larry Daniel (senior) — 98 total tackles, 26 tackles for loss (TFL), 4 sacks, 1 interception
Defensive back Anthony Paulk (junior) — 44 total tackles, 3 TFL, 1 interception
Defensive lineman Dreshawn Taylor (senior) — 37 total tackles, 17 TFL, 7 sacks
Defensive lineman Jackson Banks (senior) — 37 total tackles, 10 TFL, 5 sacks
Returner Tyrese Woodgett (sophomore) — 5 kick returns for 111 yards, 17 punt returns for 418 yards, 2 punt return touchdowns, #3 ranked punt returner in Georgia.
