Mr. Charlie James Adams, age 72, of Axson, Ga. passed away, Wednesday, December 28, 2022, at the VA Hospital in Gainesville, Fla.

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

Wife:  Kitty Fosgate Adams of Axson, Ga.

 

 

3 Sons:  James Adams and wife, Elizabeth of Longview, Tx.

Clarence Adams and wife, Virginia of Thomasville, Ga.

Mitchell Adams and wife, Amanda of Metcalf, Ga.

 

 

7 Daughters:  Vanessa Calhoun and husband, Adam of Boston, Ga.

Lori Branch of Axson, Ga.

Terri Jones and husband, Justin of Nicholls, Ga.

Katherine Tinajero and husband, Eleazin of Axson, Ga.

Alicia Murphy and husband, Chuck of Tallahassee, Fla.

Sheila Davis of Homerville, Ga.

Joy Lee Adams of Homerville, Ga.

 

 

Sister:  Leola Strickland of Waycross, Ga.

 

 

34 Grandchildren, along with several Great-Grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and many other relatives, also survive.

 

 

Graveside services for Mr. Adams will be held Tuesday, January 3, 2022, at 1:00 p.m. at Jowers Chapel Cemetery with Rev. Donnie Durrance officiating.  The interment will follow at Jowers Cemetery in Axson, Ga.

 

 

Visitation for Mr. Adams will be held, Tuesday, January 3 at Relihan Funeral Home at 11:00 a.m.

 

 

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
