Mrs. Florence McMillan Futch, age 86 of Willacoochee, Ga., passed away at her home, surrounded by loved ones on Tuesday night, December 27, 2022, following an extended illness.

 

 

Survivors include:

 

 

Son:  Clyde Futch, Jr. and wife, Bonnie of Douglas, Ga.

 

 

2 Daughters:  Ginny Nelson of Willacoochee, Ga.

Kelli Stewart and husband, Lucas of Thomasville, Ga.

 

 

Twin Sister:  Florene McMillan Bobo of McDonough, Ga.

 

 

Sisters-in-Law:  Glenda Futch Yawn of Willacoochee, Ga.

Wynelle McMillan of Lilburn, Ga.

 

 

Special Friend:  Peggy Johnson of Willacoochee, Ga.

 

 

7 Grandchildren:  John Edward “Tripp” Nelson, III and wife, Heather

Trenton Howell Nelson and wife, Ashley

Clyde Howell “Trey” Futch, III and wife, Mstar

Traci Futch

Randall Caroline Stewart

Catherine McMillan Stewart

Audra Lucas Stewart IV

 

 

4 Great-Grandchildren:  Jay Nelson

Emma Nelson

Haegan Durance

Bree Futch

 

 

Several nieces, nephews, and cousins, along with many other relatives, also survive.

 

 

Mrs. Futch was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her husband, Clyde Futch, Sr. and 3 brothers: Earl McMillan, Lawton McMillan, and J.Q. McMillan.

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Futch will be held Friday, December 30, 2022, at Willacoochee First Baptist Church at 2:00 p.m., with Rev. Joe Taft and Rev. Walt Deloach officiating.  The interment will be held in the Willacoochee City Cemetery.  

 

 

Visitation for Mrs. Futch will take place on Friday, December 30 at the church from 1:00-2:00 p.m.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family has asked that donations be made to Willacoochee First Baptist Church.

 

 

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
