The Hawks continued their strong shooting in the second half, making 51.6 percent of their shots from the field and 75 percent of their free throws. SGSC’s defense held East Georgia State to 40.4 percent shooting for the game, and the Bobcats made only 55.6 percent of their free throws.

SGSC hosted the Waycross-Ware County Chamber of Commerce Wednesday night during Chamber Night. Chamber members were recognized at halftime for the valuable role each member plays in the growth and success of Waycross and Ware County.

SGSC returns home Saturday, Feb. 11 at 4 p.m. to play Gordon State.
