Mrs. Jacqueline “Jackie” Betty Cauley Medders, age 79 of Douglas, GA passed away early Thursday morning, January 26, 2023 at Vista Park following an extended illness. Mrs. Medders was born March 19, 1943 to the late Leroy Cauley and the late Hattie Mae Swails Cauley. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by 6 Siblings: Jimmy Cauley, David Cauley, Ray Cauley, Johnny Cauley, Lydia Stockwell and Geneva Mansfield.
Mrs. Medders, a native of Coffee County, had previously worked at Coffee Regional Medical Center and then later she worked and then retired as a LPN from Campbell’s Soup. She was a faithful member of West Ward Church of God. She taught Sunday School at Vista Park (then Shady Acres) for approximately 35 years. She loved the Lord and served him with all her heart..

The family will receive friends, Sunday evening, January 29, 2023 from 7:00 PM to 9:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home.
Mrs. Medders will lie-in-state at West Ward Church of God on Monday morning, January 30, 2023 from 10:00 AM until the funeral hour of 11:00 AM.
The funeral service will be held Monday morning, January 30, 2023 at 11:00 AM at West Ward Church of God with Bishop Britt Peavy and Dr. Coleman Peacock officiating. The interment will follow at Bethany Cemetery.
