Mr. Jewell is survived by his wife, Sarah Jewell of Douglas; his daughter, Lynelle Davis and her husband Benny of Waycross; three sons, Randy Jewell and his wife Rhonda of Douglas, Ricky Jewell and his wife Penny of McDonough, Georgia, Rodney Jewell of Waycross; two step-daughters, Valerie Urreta of Pooler, Georgia, Darlene Carr and her husband Mike of Atlanta, Georgia; eighteen grandchildren; twenty-three great grandchildren; two sisters, Bonnell Wilson of Waycross, Vernell Wells of Waycross, and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives.
