Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the funeral service for Mrs. Cheryl Dianne Carver Jowers Miller, age 84, of Douglas who passed away Saturday, February 11, 2023.

 

 

Visitation will be Monday, February 13, 2023 from 6-9 pm at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services. Services will be held at 3 PM Tuesday, February 14, 2023 at Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services with burial in the Satilla Memorial Gardens.

 

 

Mrs. Miller was born in Douglas. She was the daughter of the late Grady Carver and Alma Gibson Carver and the wife of the late Richard Jowers and Walter Raymond Miller.  Mrs. Miller was preceded in death by: Brothers: Grady Carver, Jr., John Quiness Carver and Willie Hershel Carver  Grandson: Raymond Mitchell Jowers, Jr. and her fur baby: Little Bear.

 

 

Survivors include: Sons: Richard Jowers, Jr. of Douglas & Raymond Mitchell Jowers of Douglas; Daughter: Kimberly Dawn Evans (Sam) of Douglas; Grandchildren: Latasha Gilliard, Melissa Jowers, Dustin Gilliard (Nikki) Justin Jowers (Jennifer) Cody Jowers (Chelsea) & Jeremiah Jowers; Step-children: Angie Cooper of Douglas & James Miller; 4 Step-grandchildren; Nephews: John Carver & Donald Grady Carver both of Douglas; Nieces: Quinette Carver Lott & Carol Beth Sapp both of Douglas; Sister-in-law: Mary Carver Kirkland of Nicholls.
