Dwain Stapleton, age 74, of Douglas, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 5, 2023. Mr. Stapleton was born on February 29, 1948 in Coffee County, GA to Elizabeth Lott.
Survivors include; Daughter: Crystal Harden of Douglas, GA, Son: Andrew Dwain Stapleton (April) Broxton, GA, Four Grandchildren: Shelby Day, Mollie Merritt, Gracie Merritt and Tyler Stapleton, Sister: Vivian Blackstone and several Nieces and Nephews. He was preceded in death by; Mother: Elizabeth Lott, Granddaughter: Sheyanne West, Two Brothers: Herman Stapleton, Larry Lott and Sister: Mary Katherine Jenks.
The family will receive friends Thursday, February 9, 2023 from 6:00PM to 8:00PM at Sims Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 at 2:00 PM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home. Interment followed at Broxton City Cemetery.
Active Pallbearers will be: Scotty Lott, Bryson Lott, John Faulk, Kasey Hurley, Dudley Mobley and Arlo Smith.
