Mr. Joel “Joe” Thomas Rawlins, age 81 of Broxton, GA passed away, early Friday morning, February 10, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center following an extended illness. Mr. Rawlins was born December 24, 1941 to the late Harvey Rawlins and the late Mary Harper Rawlins. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Sons: Nichael Rawlins and Stephen Clay Rawlins.
Mr. Rawlins, a native of Coffee County, was a mechanic with Douglas Asphalt for many years. He was also a veteran of the United States Army during the Vietnam War. Mr. Rawlins was a member of Rocky Creek Church.

The graveside service and interment will be held Monday afternoon, February 13, 2023 at 2:00 PM at Rocky Creek Cemetery with Rev. Allen Peacock officiating. Mr. Rawlins will lie-in-state Monday afternoon, February 13, 2023 from 1:00 PM until the funeral hour of 2:00 PM at Rocky Creek Cemetery.
