Mr. Donald Ray Holton, age 85 of West Green, GA passed away early Friday morning, at The Oaks-Bethany Home in Vidalia, GA following an extended illness. Mr. Holton was born July 11, 1937 to the late Johnny Holton and the late Annie Lee Baker Holton. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by 2 Siblings: Stacey Holton and Faye Tate and 1 Daughter: Penny Holton.
Mr. Holton, a native of Coffee County, had been an active member of both the American Legion and the VFW. He had been the Commander of the American Legion and the Chaplin of both the American Legion and the VFW. He had also worked in security at South Georgia State College, Elixir Industries and Harvey’s.

The funeral service will be held on Tuesday morning, March 14, 2023 at 11:00 AM at West Green Church of God with Rev. Tim Hicks officiating and Jerome Loving presenting a eulogy. The interment will follow in Sand Hill Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends on Tuesday morning, March 14, 2023 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, the time of the funeral service at West Green Church of God.
