Ms. Grace Allene Adams Boggan, age 90 of Douglas, passed away early Saturday morning, March 25, 2023 at Coffee Regional Medical Center. Ms. Boggan was born March 16, 1933 to the late Robert Lee Adams and the late Sadie Ethel Graham Adams. Other than her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Dyer Boggan II; 2 Sons: James Charles Myers, III and Cecil Dyer Boggan, III and 1 Granddaughter: Sheri Melissa Myers Rawlins. 

 

 

Ms. Boggan, was born in McRae, GA but had lived in Coffee County for many years. She was the owner of a grocery store. She was also a private sitter for several years. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

2 Children: Robert Terry Boggan of Douglas, GA 

Brenda Faye Boggan Minix of Douglas, Ga 

 

 

9 Grandchildren 18 Great Grand Children 

 

 

A number of Great-Great Grandchildren, Many Cousins and Friends. 

 

 

The graveside service and interment will be held Wednesday afternoon, March 29, 2023 at 4:00 PM at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Marshall Adcock officiating. 

 

 

Active Pallbearers for the service will be: Jerry Minix II, Ashley Boggan, Jamie Myers, Chad Boggan, Ashton Whitley, and Anthony Harper. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
