Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the services for Mr. Charles Ernest Larney, Sr., who passed away Thursday, March 16, 2023.

Visitation will be Thursday, March 23, 2023 from 1-2 pm at the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services with services starting at 2:00 pm. Kathrine Dennison will officiate.

 

 

Mr. Larney was born in New Hartford, New York.  He was the son of the late Ivan Ray Larney & Ruth Elizabeth Hughes Larney.  Mr. Larney was preceded in death by: Wife: Lorraine Gail Atkins Larney; Brothers: Asa Larney, Monroe Larney & Ivan Larney; Nieces: Cathy Jo Tuck & Heather Porter. 

 

 

He loved music.  Mr. Larney was a member of the Eagle’s Nest for many years.  He worked as a mechanic for Silver Springs Citrus in Howey-In-The-Hills.  He also worked at Bee Hauling in Middleburg, Florida where he resided at the time of his death.  Mr. Larney was of the Baptist Faith.

 

 

Survivors include: Son: (CJ) Charles Larney, Jr. (Ashley) of Tallahassee, Florida; Daughter: Leigh Ann Larney of Okahumpka, Florida; Step-Daughters: Tracie Jones & Kelly Spenner of Middleburg, Florida; Brother: Francis Larney (Sheila) of Douglas; Sisters: Donna Fussell (Darrell) of Nicholls & Patricia Mobley (Mike) of Lake Wales, Florida; Two grandchildren: Savannah Larney & Kaleb Jones; Several nieces & nephews also survive.

 

 

Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services was in charge of the arrangements.
