Mrs. Dollie L. O’Berry, age 76 years old, of Pearson, Ga. passed away Wednesday, March 22, 2023, at her home in Pearson, Ga. following an extended illness.  

 

 

She was born in Millwood, Ga. on December 11, 1946, daughter of Nezer O’Berry and Ruby Ray Tanner.  Mrs. O’Berry made her home here, where she took great pride in caring for her family as a homemaker.  She enjoyed fishing and working in her garden and flowers.  Mrs. O’Berry was a member of Hargraves Chapel and was preceded in death, along with her parents, by her son, Douglas Tyre and daughter, Tina Davis. 

 

 

Survivors include:

 

 

Daughter:  Lonna Scott of Pearson, Ga.

 

 

Sister:  Betty Joyce and husband James of Pearson, Ga.

 

 

Brother:  Grady Bennett and wife Faith of Pearson, Ga.

 

 

5 Grandchildren, 2 Great-Grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, and other relatives also survive.

 

 

Graveside funeral services for Mrs. O’Berry were held Friday, March 24, 2023, at 1:00 p.m. at Hargraves Cemetery in Millwood, Ga. with Rev. Walt Deloach officiating. Special musical selection was “Amazing Grace” rendered by cd.  The interment followed in Hargraves Cemetery.

 

 

Relihan Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
