The South Georgia Farmers Cooperative is a collective group of farmers who have come together to support local farmers and advocate for their interests. They believe that by working together, they can create a stronger and more sustainable agriculture industry for the city of Douglas.

As an open invitation to all members of the community, the South Georgia Farmers Cooperative is hosting an event on April 24, 2023, to promote their mission and provide resources for local farmers. The event will take place at 581 Sturgeon Creek Church Road in Fitzgerald and all are welcome to attend.

The event is a wonderful opportunity for local farmers to network and access resources that can help them start or expand their farms. The South Georgia Farmers Cooperative believes that by providing mentorship, educational workshops, and networking opportunities, they can support underserved and beginning farmers in the community.

Moreover, the event is not just limited to farmers. Anyone who is interested in starting a farm or learning more about the resources available to them is welcome to attend. The South Georgia Farmers Cooperative is committed to promoting a sustainable and equitable agriculture industry in the city of Douglas, and they believe that by working together, we can create a better future for everyone.

The event will be an exciting opportunity to learn more about the South Georgia Farmers Cooperative, their mission, and their impact on the community. Attendees will have a chance to meet with local farmers, hear from guest speakers, and participate in educational workshops. The cooperative will also be available to answer any questions attendees may have.

The South Georgia Farmers Cooperative is an excellent example of how collective action can create a positive impact on the community. By providing resources and support to local farmers, they are helping to promote a sustainable and equitable agriculture industry for the city of Douglas.

So, whether you are a farmer, someone who is interested in starting a farm, or just a member of the community interested in supporting local agriculture, we encourage you to come out to the event on April 24, 2023. The South Georgia Farmers Cooperative welcomes you with open arms and promises to make it a warm and welcoming experience for everyone.
