Carolyn Sue Prescott, age 83, of North Fort Myers, FL passed away on Saturday, April 15, 2023  at Hope Hospice Cape Coral, FL following an extended illness. Ms. Prescott was born on November 2, 1939 in Bluffton, IN, to the late Marcus S. Barber and Esther L. Tatman–Barber.

 

 

Survivors include: Three Daughters: Carolyn “Renee” Allen, Julia Ann Moore, Karla Ann Richardson, Three Sons: Ralph “Clinton” Prescott Jr. Marcus Emmett Prescott, Michael Corey Prescott, Two Sisters: Anita DeBoer, Faye Volz, Eight Grandchildren, and Eighteen Great Grandchildren. Ms. Prescott was preceded in death by her parents, Marcus S. Barber and Esther L. Tatman–Barber, One Sister, Joyce Darlene Westberry, and One Brother, Marcus S. “Bud” Barber.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, from 10:00AM until 11:00AM at Sandhill Baptist Church.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, April 19, 2023, at 11:00AM, at Sandhill Baptist Church with Rev. Glenn Waters officiating. The interment will follow at Sandhill Baptist Church Cemetery.

 

 

In lieu of flowers, the family request that donations be made to the Susan G. Komen Breast Cancer Foundation.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
