Mrs. Cynthia “Cindy” Thomason Crenshaw, age 68 of Douglas, passed away Friday evening, April 14, 2023 at Vista Park Health and Rehabilitation following an extended illness. Mrs. Crenshaw was born July 12, 1954 to the late Wayne Benson Thomason and the late Peggy Jean Pitts Thomason. 

 

 

Cindy was born in Boston, GA, but had lived in Douglas for most of her life. She has been the receptionist for Dr. Arnett’s office until her retirement. She was a member of Eastside Baptist Church. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

Her Husband: Roy L. Crenshaw of Douglas, GA 

 

 

2 Sons: Jason Crenshaw and wife Shannon of Woodbine, GA 

Brandon Crenshaw and wife Buffy of Woodbine, GA 

 

 

2 Brothers: Tim Thomason of Douglas, GA 

Mitch Thomason and wife April of Douglas, GA 

 

 

1 Sister: Myra Buchan and husband Vance of St. Augustine, FL 

 

 

4 Grandchildren: Andrew Crenshaw, Bailey Crenshaw, Benson Crenshaw and Isabelle Crenshaw all of of Woodbine, GA 

 

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins and Many Friends 

 

 

The family will receive friends, Monday, April 17, 2023 from 1:00 PM until 2:45 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home. 

 

 

The graveside service and interment will follow at 3:00 PM at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. Terry Reagin officiating. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
