Mrs. Dutchie Finn West, age 84 years old, of Camden County, Ga. passed away Thursday, April 20, 2023, in Kingsland, Ga. surrounded by loving family and friends. She was holding the hand of her loving son, Mark West, when she went home to be with the Lord.

Survivors include:

Husband:  Ronnie West of Pearson, Ga.

3 Sons:  Mark West of Kingsland, Ga.

Glen West of Pearson, Ga.

Brad West of Pearson, Ga.

2 Daughters:  Rhonda Blanton and husband, Carlton of Chattanooga, Tn.

Dell Cartledge and husband, Lee of Gulf Breeze, Fla.

Brother:  Jimmy Finn of Brunswick, Ga.

Several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, along with many other relatives also survive.

She was a loving wife to Ronnie West for 68 years. They met at the Century Movie Theater which his family owned and operated in St. Marys. She loved being a mother, grandmother and friend. Her beautiful smile warmed the heart of anyone she ever met. You may have seen that smile as she traveled around town with her family and friends to some of her favorite places daily over the past 4 years as she battled breast cancer. She worked with Dot Barker for the American Cancer Society. She was a member of the Woman’s Club. Her family, Pacetti (Minorcan settlers), Frohock and Finn, were original settlers of Kings Bay and St. Marys. She had a great love for her hometown and was the first woman to run for Mayor of St. Marys. She loved flowers and enjoyed giving them to friends and those who were in need of cheering up. She was so loving. She was the most kind and gentle soul you would ever meet.  Always loving, always loved.

A graveside service will be held at Oak Grove Cemetery in St. Marys, Ga., on Saturday, April 29, 2023, at 3:00 p.m.

Floral arrangements may be sent to Donini’s Florist in St. Marys, Ga. or Kings Bay Florist in Kingsland.

Memorialization is by cremation.

Relihan Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
