Mr. Marvin “Keith” Bookout, age 62 of Douglas, passed away Thursday afternoon at his residence following an extended illness. Mr. Bookout was born July 27, 1960 to the late Marvin Vasco Bookout and Wanda Mae McRorie. Other than his father, he is preceded in death by an infant Daughter: Cortney Bookout, 1 Sister: Jean Bookout Vickers & 1 Sister-in-Law: Schannon Bookout. 

 

 

Mr. Bookout was a painter for many years. He loved to hunt & fish. He was also a big Braves fan. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

His wife: Cynthia “Cindy” Anderson Bookout of Douglas, GA 

 

 

1 Daughter: Candice (Anthony) Taylor of Pearson, GA 

 

 

1 Son: Jonathan (Mandy) Bookout of Grovetown, GA 

 

 

His mother: Wanda Mae McRorie of West Green, GA 

 

 

1 Sister: Marcia (Johnny) Steed of Nicholls, GA 

 

 

1 Brother: Dewayne Bookout of West Green , GA 

 

 

1 Brother-in-Law: Mike Vickers of Ambrose, GA 

 

 

3 Grandchildren: Dylan (Mallory) Taylor of Axson, GA 

Macy Taylor of Valdosta, GA 

Ryann Bookout of Grovetown, GA 

 

 

Special Brother: Rodney Peterson of Douglas, GA 

 

 

Several Nieces, Nephews, Cousins & Many Friends 

 

 

A graveside service will be held Monday, May 15 at 1:00 PM at the Douglas City Cemetery. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
