Mrs. Norma Hernandez, age 53 of Douglas, GA passed away Sunday afternoon, May 7, 2023 at her residence following a short illness. Mrs. Fernandez was born to the late Salustio Fransisco Hernandez and to Agueda Esperanza Fernandez. Other than her father, she is also preceded in death by a brother: Bonifacio Hernandez and an infant son. She was a homemaker and member of Iglesia de Dios Ultima Ilamada. 

 

 

Survivors include: 

 

 

Her Husband: Jose’ Eleazar Chora of Douglas, Ga. 

 

 

4 Daughters: Jessica Hernandez (Ernesto Dominguez) of Claxton, Ga. 

Norma Y. Hernandez (Oscar Hernandez) of Douglas, GA. 

Samantha Hernandez (Celso Hernandez) of Douglas, Ga. 

Daniela Chora of Douglas, GA. 

 

 

2 Sisters: Emma Hernandez of Veracruz, Mexico 

Mirlan Hernandez (Jorge Andrade) of Douglas, Ga. 

 

 

1 Brother: Jose Francisco Hernandez (Patricia Morales) of Pearson, Ga. 

 

 

Grandchildren: Ivan Trejo,Luna Hernandez, Brielle Hernandez, Leilani Hernandez, Alexa Hernandez, Aliyah Hernandez, Oscar Hernandez Jr, Aislinn Hernandez and Alejandro Hernandez. 

 

 

Nieces and nephews include; Nadia Ramos, Saira Garcia, Sandra Andrade, Jorge Jr. Andrade, Daniel Andrade, Caleb Hernandez, Alexis Hernandez and Mia Hernandez. 

 

 

Funeral services for Mrs. Fernandez will be held Saturday, May 13, 2023 at 1:00 PM at the Chapel of Ricketson Funeral Home with Brother Ernesto Dominguez and Pastor Carlos Pineda Officiating. The Interment will follow in the Douglas City Cemetery. Visitation will be held Friday, May 12, from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. at Ricketson Funeral Home. 

 

 

Ricketson Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.
