The Douglas Police Department, Fire Department, and Code Enforcement invite all school-age children to the End of School Bash on Tuesday, May 30, 2023 from 10 AM-2 PM at the City Pool. During the event, entrance to the pool and splash pad will be free as well as other fun activities taking place for children of all ages to enjoy.

“We want the kids to be able to have lots of safe, fun activities while school is out, and what better way than to kick it off with us!” says Interim Douglas Police Chief Brannen Pruette. “Kids can use this time to unwind and enjoy some good food, Coca-Cola drinks, the pool and splash pad, kickball, and have some fun with DPD Officers and Douglas Firefighters.”

With a large crowd expected, the pool and splash pad will be limited based on the occupancy load and the availability of lifeguards. Attendees will have time to enjoy all the activities offered both morning and afternoon.

Special thanks to our partners Tifton Coca-Cola, Douglas Mayors Youth Council, and Parks & Recreation. For more information, (912) 384-2222.
