Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services announces the memorial service for Terry Lee Wardell, age 70, of Douglas, Ga., who passed away Sunday, May 14, 2023.

 

 

Visitation will be 2 pm to 3 pm Saturday, May 20, 2023, in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services. Memorial services will be held at 3 pm, Saturday, May 20, 2023 in the Chapel of Johnson Funeral & Cremation Services.

 

 

Mr. Wardell was born in Macomb, Illinois.  He was the son of the late Muriel Hayes Wardell & William Lee Wardell and was preceded in death by: Sister: Jeanie Wardell Christenson. After serving his country in the U.S. Army, Mr. Wardell worked with Cady Bag Industry where he retired.

 

 

Survivors include: Wife: Elberta “Kenni” Wardell of Douglas; Daughter: Tera Wardell Shriver of Marietta, Illinois; Son: Danny Hendren of Savannah;  Daughter: Rusty Wardell Canny of Woodbridge, VA; Son: Robert Cody Lee Wardell of San Antonio, Texas; Brother: Billy Don Wardell of Rock Island, Illinois; Sisters: Patty Smith of Macomb, Illinois, Carol Pittman of Colechester, Illinois & Sandy Harrison of Carthage, Illinois; Long Life Friend: Bob Ward; 7 grandchildren; 2 great-grandchildren; 10 nieces & 10 nephews also survive.
