Jimmy Carl Roberts, age 80, of Alma, GA passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023 at Memorial Health in Savannah, GA following an extended illness. Mr. Roberts was born on July 20, 1942 in Coffee County, GA and the son of the late Cecil and Mary Roberts Hursey.

 

 

Survivors include: Three Daughters; Rita (Robert) Cable of Pine Grove, LA, Kathy (Steve) Morani of Hickory, NC, Chy Roberts of GA, Two Sons; James (Tracy) Tarver of McComb, MS, Kevin (Misty) Roberts of St. Amant, LA, Several Grandchildren, Two Sisters; Celia (Glen) of Ambrose, GA, Fanny (Bucky) Hayes of Alma, GA. Mr. Roberts was preceded in death by: His Parents; Cecil Hursey and Mary Roberts Hursey, and One Sister; Barbara Ann Hursey.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Monday, May 29, 2023, from 1:00PM until 2:00PM at Burkett Baptist Church.

 

 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, May 29, 2023, at 2:00PM, at Burkett Baptist Church with Rev. John Thomas officiating. The interment will follow at Burkett Baptist Church Cemetery. Active Pallbearers will be: Keith Hursey, Daniel Bagley, Rusty Purvis, Ken Hursey, Kerry Van Moore, and Kenny Hursey.

 

 

Sims Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
