Sharon Parker Vickers, age 84, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023, at her residence. Mrs. Vickers was born on November 18, 1938, in Douglas, GA, to the late Marion A. Parker and the late Cleo Davis Parker Bagent. 

 

 

A lifelong resident of Douglas, Mrs. Vickers was married to Micajah (“Amos”) Vickers for 65 years until his death in 2021. She was a real estate agent at Coldwell Banker before her retirement.

 

 

Survivors Include: Two sons, David (Jenny) Vickers of Douglas, GA, and Jon (Lindsay) Vickers of Atlanta, GA; One daughter, Amy (Josh) Larkey of Douglas, GA; One daughter-in-law, Becky (Victor ) Vickers; Eleven grandchildren: Allen Vickers, Daniel Vickers, Jason Vickers, Steven Vickers, William Vickers, Jon Vickers, Jack Vickers, Andrew  Larkey, Elizabeth Larkey, Vivienne Vickers and Scarlett Vickers; One brother, Judon (Martha) Parker; as well as several nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was Preceded in Death by her Husband, Micajah (“Amos”) Vickers;  Son, Victor Vickers; Father, Marion A Parker; and Mother, Cleo Davis Parker Bagent.

 

 

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, June 20, 2023 at 10:00AM at Douglas City Cemetery with Rev. William Pope officiating.

 

 

Sympathy may be expressed by signing the online registry at www.simsfuneralhome.org.
