Paul Stanford Brown, age 75, of Douglas, Georgia passed away on Saturday, June 24, 2023, at his residence. Brown was born on February 15, 1948, in Douglas, GA to Fred J. Brown and Laura Smith Brown.
Survivors include: Two Sons; Stanley “Peter” (Jan) Brown of Wray, GA, Michael “Bull” (Cindy) Brown of Douglas, GA, Five Grandchildren; Sheala (Vic) Paulk of Ambrose, GA, Laykin Brown, Maggie Brown, Mollie Brown, and Tori (Dalton) Bennett of Homerville, One Great-grandchild; Wrenley Bennett, One Sister; Katherine Rhon of Douglas, GA. He was preceded in death by: Father; Fred J. Brown, Mother; Laura Smith Brown; His Beloved Wife; Melva Jean Brown, Four Brothers; Fred Brown, Charles Brown, David Brown, and Hansel Brown, One Sister; Patricia McKinnon.
Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 11:00AM at the Chapel of Sims Funeral Home with Pastor Gene Chaney officiating.
Interment followed at City of Douglas Cemetery.
The family requests in lieu of flowers, donations be made to “Wreaths Across America” via Mr. Jerome Loving with the American Legion Post 515.
The family will receive friends Tuesday, June 27, 2023 from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at Sims Funeral Home.
