Johnny Lee Williams Jr. was born on December 17, 1953, to the late Johnny Lee Williams and Mildred James in Douglas, Georgia. He was educated through the Coffee County School System. Shortly after high school, he relocated to Adel, Georgia, to help his mother. Later in life, he moved back to Douglas, Georgia.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Johnny Lee (Ethel) Williams and Mildred (Curtis) James, and one daughter, Brandy Williams.
He leaves to cherish his memories: one son: Antonio (Victoria) Williams; one daughter: Janet Coleman; seven grandchildren; eleven great-grandchildren; five brothers: John (Bennie) Williams, Tommie Berry, Ted Williams, Tony James, Elijah James, and Steve Moore; five sisters: Betty Jo Williams, Glenda (Donnell) Sirmans, Lavonne (Willie Frank) Coney, Natalie (Clyde) Gainey-English, and Judy (Joseph) Sanders; one godson: Kaleb Paulk; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
Visitation was held on June 24, 2023, at Harrell’s Funeral Home in Douglas. Funeral services were held at the Elm Street Church of Christ in Adel on June 25, 2023, at 2 p.m. Burial followed in the Sparks Cemetery in Sparks.
Harrell’s Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
