Cecil Carver, age 91, of Broxton, GA, passed away peacefully, at his residence on Saturday, July 29, 2023, following an extended illness. Mr. Carver was born on December 13, 1931, to the late Mr. Johnnie Carver, and Mrs. Bessie Day.

 

 

Survivors include: His Beloved Wife; Mary Lou Carver, of Broxton, GA, One Son; Jimmy Cecil Carver, of Broxton, GA, One Daughter; Patricia Anne Carver Daniel, of Broxton, GA, Six Grandchildren; Benny Chad Carter, William Cecil Carver, Jamie Nicole Edge, Janna Nichelle McKinnon, Kimberly Deanna Daniel, Danielle Daniel Haskins, and Eleven Great Grandchildren. He was Preceded in death by: Father; Johnnie Carver, Mother; Bessie Day Carver, Great-Granddaughter; Joselyn Raine Matthews, Four Brothers; J.H. Carver, Willard Carver, Emory Carver, and James Edward Carver, Three Sister; Clara Mae Sears, Geneva Solomon, and Betty Smith.

 

 

The family will receive friends on Monday July 31, 2023, from 6PM till 9PM, at Sims Funeral Home of Douglas, GA. Funeral services will be held at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church of Ambrose, GA, on Tuesday, August 1, 2023, at 2PM, with Rev. George Carroll Paulk, and Rev. Loyce (Loy) Burkett officiating. Interment to follow at Mt. Union Primitive Baptist Church Cemetery to follow.
