Mrs. Janice Sophia Swails Harrison, age 61 of Nicholls, GA passed away Wednesday evening, August 9, 2023 at US Health/Shands in Jacksonville, FL from injuries received in an auto accident. Mrs. Harrison was born February 6, 1962 to the late Johnny Swails and the late Jeanette Jowers Swails.
Mrs. Harrison, a native of Douglas, GA, had worked at Coats and Clark for a number of years. She had also been a cashier for Aden’s Minute Mart. She was of the Baptist faith.

The family will receive friends Sunday evening, August 13, 2023 from 7:00 PM until 9:00 PM at Ricketson Funeral Home. The funeral service will be held Monday afternoon at 4:00 PM at First Assembly of God with Rev. Cliff Kirkland officiating. The interment will follow at Swails Family Cemetery at 540 White Pine Highway, Nicholls, GA.
